{"id":1734,"date":"2015-09-02T09:02:27","date_gmt":"2015-09-02T08:02:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.purcheval.com\/?p=1734"},"modified":"2016-06-06T12:53:59","modified_gmt":"2016-06-06T11:53:59","slug":"the-world-championships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purcheval.com\/en\/the-world-championships\/","title":{"rendered":"The World Championships"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][mk_gallery images=&#8221;1810,3294,3264&#8243; column=&#8221;3&#8243; height=&#8221;250&#8243; frame_style=&#8221;simple&#8221; disable_title=&#8221;false&#8221; order=&#8221;ASC&#8221; orderby=&#8221;menu_order&#8221;][vc_column_text disable_pattern=&#8221;true&#8221; align=&#8221;left&#8221; margin_bottom=&#8221;10&#8243;]\n<p>Time flies!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">We have now settled back into our daily \u00a0routine in France after World Championships full of inspiration and we would like to share our two riders&#8217; feelings.<\/span><br \/>\nCharlotta and Tha\u00efna who were competing on Hylur fr\u00e1 Mi\u00f0hrauni and Hr\u00edsey fr\u00e1 Langholtsparti had a great time on the track.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><em>&#8220;The feeling when you enter the track is unbelievable and to feel the support from all these people is an amazing feeling&#8221;<\/em> <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\">said Charlotta.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">At our riders&#8217; sides providing great support round-the-clock were the two grooms Jennifer Evel\u00f6nn and Berglind \u00deorvaldssd\u00f3ttir.<br \/>\nOf course, Svanhv\u00edt Kritsjansd\u00f3ttir was also there to train and coach the girls at all times.<\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"color: #222222;\">Although the results were not as high as the peak they had reached this season both our riders were happy to have had the chance present their horses and show elegant, nice riding at these Championships.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #222222;\">\n<div>Our greatest achievement during these Championships in Herning was of course Gl\u00f3\u00f0afeykir fr\u00e1 Halakoti&#8217;s victory which we\u00a0co-own. Gl\u00f3\u00f0afeykir won the World Champion title in breeding class for stallions 7 years and older.<\/div>\n<div>An article about Gl\u00f3\u00f0afeykir will come out in the next coming days where you will learn more about this incredible horse, his history and his future.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>The World Championships themselves were extremely well organised by a warmhearthed, welcoming team always ready to help with a smile. And of course, one of if not the most important factors, the facilities for the horses were very good.<\/div>\n<div>To finish we would like to thank the rest of the French team: Sophie, Michel, Jacques, Ayla, Pascale, Xavi\u00e8re and Charlotte as well as their grooms and of course our team leader Jean-Paul Balz for a great time and experience.
